The Official Pokéspot Forums Opening Celebratory Tournament

What's good fam! It's a new year and to open up the forums officially I will be running a Pokemon Sun and Moon Pokébank OU Tourney!

I'm not putting a entry cap or entry fee on this tournament.

Sign-ups will run from Now until January 15th at 12:01 AM. It will be a single elimination tournament. Users are not required to register teams, which means you can change your team in between matches. Wins must be verified via a PM to me. Anyone caught sniping (spectating to see opponent's teams before you play each other) will be dropped from the tournament.

This will be held over Showdown ONLY.

Prizing will be as follows:

1st Place: 1000 SpotCoins and their choice of any LEGAL shiny, holding any item they would like.
2nd Place: 500 SpotCoins
3rd Place: 250 SpotCoins
4th Place: 150 SpotCoins

If tournament is larger than 16 players:
5th-8th Place: 50 SpotCoins.

If the Tournament is larger than 32 players:
5th-8th Place: 100 SpotCoins.
9th-16th Place: 50 SpotCoins

If by some miracle, the Tournament gets 64 players:

1st Place: 2000 SpotCoins in addition to a Shiny of their choice, with any item they would like.
2nd Place: 1000 SpotCoins in addition to a Shiny of their choice.
3rd Place: 500 SpotCoins
4th Place: 250 SpotCoins
5th-8th Place: 150 SpotCoins
9th-16th Place: 100 SpotCoins
17th-32nd Place: 50 SpotCoins
